Maintenance and repair of motor:
1. The operation environment should be kept clean and dry, the air inlet
should not be obstructed by dust and fibers
2. Before each operation it should be strictly checked, whether the fasteners
loose or fallen off, by occurrence of these phenomena the fasteners must
be tightened at first
3. The bearings of ordinary three-phase asynchronous motor should be
maintenanced after 2000 hours operation time, it's mainly clearing the
bearings with kerosene or diesel oil, increasing grease according to the
bearing capacity, make sure that the grease must be clean and free of
impurities. The grease should be as much as 50% ~ 60% of the bearing
inner ring. For a 2-pol motor it should be 1/3, too much grease will
cause extra heating of the bearing, oil owing out of the wire wrap and
damaging the insulation package
4. When the bearing life closing its limit, vibration and noise of the motor
operation will significantly increase, the bearing should be replaced
